Ana, born in Bogotá in 2001 is based in Switzerland since 2023, after years of moving across places and languanges. She sees design as an open field for experimentation.
Studied her bachelor’s degree in ↗Pontificia Universidad Javeriana before continuing her education in Europe, where she completed two master’s degrees in design, at the ↗Hochschule für Gestaltung und Kunst Basel in Collaboration with the ↗University of Illinois at Chicago.
She also lived in Finland, where she attended Swedish-speaking ↗Åbo Akademi University in topics such as Comic-Making, Gender Studies and Research in design through interdisciplinary fields, an experience that sharpened her sensitivity.
Her work moves between intuition and development of systems, often guided by the feeling of enjoying the process of making.
Her practice runs across Operational & Logistics in design fields, graphic design, poster and web design, creative coding, publishing, speculative thinking, fashion and music.
In 2025, as part of her master’s thesis project, she developed →root a digital tool for live-making graphics that simply grow on the internet, the project was later published on ↗Slanted Publishers #47 on digital tools.
She has worked for big design studios in Colombia such as ↗LAVALENTINA.
Whether developing visual systems, building editorial worlds, or exploring music, fashion and art as parallel languages, Ana’s work is marked by a desire to create forms that feel like growing without chaging its soul. Her interest lies not only in designing images but in constructing visual and conceptual environments where different practices can coexist and influence one another.
